They are probably still waiting for more Fry Scholars to commit before they continue the selection process.
How many people you know of or are here that received the Fry scholarship? I don’t know anyone
I know 6 people who have received the scholarship. Three of them I know personally
So do those people who recieved it have until March 1st to notify IU whether they want to accept it or not?
Students who receive the Fry have until May 1 to decide.
If people who have until May 1st, what is the point of the March 1st update. Is anyone going to be awarded it March 1st?
I don’t really know about that part of the selection process
so are they just choosing a few more march 1st? since people already offered the fry have until may 1st, then why would they give out a few more on the 1st?
That exactly what I am confused about! What is the point of the March 1st update if kids you already we’re offer have until May 1st to make a decision.

So then Friday should just be rejections and offers right? Because someone said that the process is being wrapped up this month?
I just find it a bit unfair that if offers are given on Friday, then why wouldn’t they have to get interviewed but everyone else had to?
Yeah I don’t really understand the March 1st date because people who were offered have until May 1st to accept or decline the offer. I really hope they don’t defer decisions to April 1st. It also seems weird that they haven’t interviewed anyone else.
