IU Kelley VS UDel Lerner

Hello guys! So I was admitted to IU as a psychology major but I think I want to do business. I am in University Division my first year since I did not get DA into CAS obviously. Now my issue is that I live in New York. I visited Indiana and liked it a lot. But after researching all about standard admission, I heard that many of the classes are difficult (especially finite math) and it could be very challenging. I think if I try really hard and work my booty off I can get in. However, I also wanted to rush and live a little my first year of college. On the other hand, I am also a psychology major at University of Delaware. I was thinking to double major in psychology and business there since it is close by, a little easier than IU, and they gave me $28k for 4 years (it is not a lot but in the long run I guess it is good.) It is just that even with double majoring at UDel, I would have to take winter or summer courses which I kind of don’t want to do (although I could drop psych or business if I like one more than the other) Regardless, lets us say that I did not qualify standard admission to Kelley, I would go into neuroscience and minor in psychology (I would then go to law school) I just don’t know. I am very confused. I do not want to regret the fact of not being a student at Kelley. What would you do if you were in my shoes? I could get the same degree of psych/neuro at Delaware and get the same results. ugh!

IU is a fantastic place! Kelley is the superior business school, but getting in without DA is very difficult. You could, however, minor in business at Kelley and major in psychology.

Bottom line – if you are dead set on business, then go to Delaware, because it will be easier to get into the major there. If you’re uncertain, and plan to go to law school anyway, go to IU.
