^haha, well not really. i speak good english because i studied in english speaking schools all my life. my enlgish is as fluent as my chinese.

Your faculty award is cut in half and awarded half the value each semester, reducing the semester fees.

do i have to reapply to continue receiving the award or will i have it for 4 years? i've got "$15,000 IU Faculty Award- available to nonresident students on a $3,750 per year basis for up to 4 years" so it means that every semester $1875 will be automatically deducted?

I don't think that you should rule out UW-madison...its overall repuration and academics are superior to IU's. If i didn't get into Michigan I would definitely be attending UW.

As long as you have a 3.0 GPA, you're award is automatically renewed.

I agree with arb88. Actually check out the "rankings" (notice the quotes, they are only a superficial guide at best) and you'd find that IU's B-school is ranked one or two higher than UW-Madison's. That's an insignificant difference. It's more competitive to get into the UW-Madison business school though, so if you can't handle that, I'd recommend Kelley.

Or you can not worry about "admissions difficulty" and just go to the better business school. The business school with the better reputation. The business school that employers recruit out of more. That has better job placement. Not to mention, the cheaper school.

This is an Indiana University board, I'm not going to try and take it over. It is cheaper, but whether you like it or not the statistics don't show such a wide disparity between the schools. A rank or two higher in a study means next to nothing.

Producing the most CEOs of Fortune 500 companies (tied with Harvard) however, does mean a lot.

I am turning down Michigan and Wis.Madison for IU Bentley or GW. Likely between Indiana or Bentley, as i plan to study buiness and they are both better than GW for my intended area of study. I visited all of them, and Indiana is QUITE NICE!!

Bentley is good and all, but I think it would do more harm than good to study business in an enviornment such as that - Where the entire school is devoted to business. I think you would miss many opportunities that you would get at IU (or any other full-featured university), and that just might come back to bite you later on.

how do you all know so much about dorms and everything? from tours...the website? i must not be as good at finding info from the website, bc i can't find out alot of info i want!
