IUPUI or Butler?

See, I want to be a lawyer and I want the BEST liberal arts college. I live in Indiana, and my counselor told me, before my freshman year ended, and he told me that IUPUI and Butler are one the best universities for liberal arts. Which school is better?

It really depends on the program, those schools are vastly different.

IUPUI has a decent (top 100) law school program, but for undergrad it’s seen as mostly a commuter school. It’s also one of the 4 biggest colleges in Indiana (Along with IU, Purdue, and Ball State)

Butler is a very small private school and thus is much more expensive.

So I think you should focus on what you want out of your undergrad and pick a school from there, and then focus on having the best GPA and LSAT scores you can, so you are in a good position for law school… IF that’s what you still want in four years.

IUPUI would probably be your best bet. Law school is expensive so having less to owe from your undergrad will really help. IUPUI will also allow you to experience more people of different culturals which will really help you in law school.
