<p>I was recently accepted into Northeastern's University Scholars Program, and since then, NEU has gradually changed from a safety school to a school that really seems like a place I would enjoy spending the next few years. I was informed that, through the honors program, I'd be in the International Village Dorms freshman year. These dorms seem awesome (as nice/nicer than a lot of the freshman dorms even at ivy-league/mit), and I would appreciate any information about IV before I go visit in March - but I also have a specific question: how's the gym? I don't use cardio equipment, just free weights (thus I just need a squat rack, barbell, and plates). It wouldn't be awful to walk over to The Marino center to workout, but being able to at IV would definitely be a perk. I couldn't find many specifics through google, can anyone here give me more information? </p>
