I am aiming to go to UPenn, and I was wondering if i still have a chance. I go to a private school and am currently finishing my sophomore year. I got A's and B's and a C+ in spanish, same for freshmen year. I've been slacking lately and I am determined to get straight A's my next to years of high school. My school only offers a couple AP's. So I am taking AP history next year, and honors classes. I volunteer at a hospital, and play soccer and lacrosse. My gpa is probably around a 3.4 right now. How can i increase my gap? and do i still have the chance to get accepted into UPenn? Also if AP classes are really important, my parents are giving me the opportunity to switch schools so i can have more options for AP classes. I want to become Premed. PLEASE HELP.

Getting into U Penn would be very difficult. Your GPA is quite low for U Penn standards, at least at this point. Make sure that you get all A’s your junior year. You frankly don’t have the best E.C.'s. Everyone who applies to those schools does volunteering, and everyone has dedicated E.C.'s. Is there a chance that you’d be recruited for either Soccer or Lacrosse? Recruitment would definitely help you out. I also have no idea of your test scores. Go for a 34 on the ACT and/or a 2250 on the SAT.
