I have a 3.7 WEIGHTED GPA and a 2100 SAT.

I come from a school for the gifted in FL, that has been ranked top 10 by US NEWS.

I really want to be in Boston, and I hope I have a good shot. My course load has been rigorous and by the time I graduate I'll have taken 5 APs. I also play Varsity Lacrosse.

Let me know what you think.. Should I be worried, or would you say I have a really good shot?

Yup…personally i think you have a good chance in Northeastern. But in admission process other factors do come in to play.
NO need to be worried. BUT Charleston and Colorado are both great schools…so you have nothing to lose.

Your self-description seems fine, but it’s short on details, and we really can’t give you a prediction.

dpc – let me ask the question – where are your stats in comparison to Northeastern’s published entering class stats? I would guess without looking that yours would be in the 70-75%.

Without knowing anything else about you, that is a strong match and means you have a better than 50% chance… it is important however that the reader of your application be familiar with the rigor of your school, and where your gpa stands in relation to your classmates. A 3.7 weighted is low for a top 100 school, below the median for sure, but raw gpa is meaningless outside the context of the quality of your school and what a grade means at your school.

Well 25% of the students last year had a 2050 or higher, so I’m looking really good for scores.

And 50% of the students had a GPA from 3.6-3.9 so I fit in there too.

I’d say I’m almost for sure in after looking at that. They also waived my app fee, and I know I have great recs and a good essay.
