ugh i feel i don't compare to ANYONE on here

why? what did i do wrong? my school is 3rd in the nation and its rediculously difficult for anyone to get into an ivy or such like maybe 2 in the last 3 years.
what makes this so crazy?

i dont understand why people seem fine about chances in "what are my chances" but for specific schools they get all defensive and call this a "nuisance"

it's not a nuissance because we're defensive, it's a nuissance because you go so far as describing a rec as "godly" then say you don't feel like you compare to anyone. There have been a few people use "ego" in their responses unfairly, but it is clear here that you posted this to satisfy yours.

Your ACT is too low, but if everything else is as good as you say it is, you should be just fine

i think you have as great a chance as me
i beat you in AP classes though
i have: 7 senior, 6 junior, 3 sophomore, 1 freshman = 17 total
other than that the rest of my stats aren't very impressive either

umar99: aha yes i was on my to 17, but my schedule didn't work out, my school offers 30 so its crazy!

gimmestanford: okay i understand, and i truly didn't mean to satisfy anything, ive been coming on here lately and i really feel that nothing compares to this site.

i dont understand why people seem fine about chances in "what are my chances" but for specific schools they get all defensive and call this a "nuisance"

why don't you just go post in "what are my chances" thread then? nobody probably likes seeing chance threads in this stanford forum at this time of the year anyway

When I got my ap scores back I got a one on chem, so I had them rescore it and I passsed, although it's still just a three and I won't get credit, it's better than a one, even though my trnascript says I got a one still hopefully they won't consider ap scores in admissions

crunk i was a bit hard on you, i'm sorry. how is your school 3rd in the nation and send no one to ivy caliber schools? that doesnt make much sense
