Hello,

I recently found out that I need to take a biology and a math level II SAT subject test for my college application. The problem is is that I have never taken biology or Geometry, Algebra II, or Precalculus. I am in calculus now, so I am able to do higher level math, but I just don't know all of the stuff from earlier years. I have self-taught myself these subjects, but will definitely need to relearn basically everything.

What books should I use to learn all of this stuff for basically the first time? I need either a really comprehensive prep book, or a text book.

Thanks!

@ipeeonthings Well, nice username you have there.

On a more serious note, I reckon Barron’s definitely publish the most detailed books you’ll find out there. Some people say that they’re harder than the real thing and that’s a good reason not to go for them, but I actually found Barron’s Biology practice tests easier than the real test.

Barrons is certainly the best prep book for the Bio test, I used it my freshman year without an AP course and got a 790. However, the book runs over much material without truly explaining it, so if you haven’t taken bio, I would recommend either getting an AP bio textbook or just using the internet to help with barrons
