i've questions about housing options

I saw a thread about housing options, but I didn't see a consensus list. So can someone please list the coed freshmen dorms and give a little info about them?
For example:
Alabama: where all the sluts are

Longstreet: more geeky, and people consume large amoung of alchohol.

I'm just making an example.

What exactly do you want to know? If, based on your examples, you are looking for stereotypes as far as the people in each dorm, I think it's pretty obvious that there cannot be much truthful information since 1) freshmen don't choose their housing -- unless it's changed again this year -- and 2) the "type" of people living in each dorm changes every year. If you are looking for information on the actual dorms (room sizes, amenities, etc), one of the best resources is the housing website (<a href="http://www.emory.edu/HOUSING/UNDERGRAD/opt_infresh.html)%5B/url%5D">http://www.emory.edu/HOUSING/UNDERGRAD/opt_infresh.html)</a>.

Either way, with the exception of Thomas Hall, I believe all of the dorms are coed -- whether by room, floor, or building.

Without Scholar status, it is difficult to get Alabama Hall. Therefore, one could probably make a strong case that Alabama Hall is the hall with the most academically impressive students. Other than that, I think it's hard to make generalizations about dorms because the people are randomly assigned to dorms each year, although it is not completely random, which provokes the question, "Can generalizations be made based upon the non-random factors of getting a dorm?"

If you choose coed by room on your housing application, I think you have a good chance of getting Dobbs because it's one of the few coed by room dorms. Thus, whatever generalizations hold true for people who choose coed by room may very well hold true for people in Dobbs. If you're a female and you choose coed by dorm, then you'll most likely get Thomas because it's the only coed by dorm dorm. Perhaps generalizations about the people who choose coed by dorm hold true for people in Thomas. I think there is an interesting case to be made for this.
