@Ivyhopes12 - if you do not mind sharing, did you get accepted to a college of your top selections?

@TechyMom They got into Princeton if your still wondering haha.
Yeah, just in case some current underclassman wants to add my case to their CC stalking (I know I did for a while), here it is:
First, I applied to Pitt in October. I got into the Honors College and got a tuition scholarship. Pitt is very generous toward high stat kids, so it’s a great match/safety. (idk if it’s any harsher for OOS; I live in Pennsylvania)
I got into PSU in mid-November. I have yet to hear back from Schreyer, but I’ll update next week when I hear. They aren’t stat-focused anyway, so that decision doesn’t have too much bearing on this topic.
I applied to Princeton SCEA and got in. At this point, I reevaluated my list to cut a lot of matches and lower reaches (I figured, why waste the $500+ when there’s no way I’m matriculating at any of these schools?) I ended up applying to MIT, Northwestern, and Swarthmore (pretty much only because they gave me fee waivers. A little selfish, no doubt, but alas, that’s the case)
I hear from MIT, NU, and Swat this month, and I’ll finalize the thread at that time. So, for all of you youngins out there, have hope, have fun, and have reasonable expectations.
@ivyhopes12 Congrats, Princeton is currently the number one school in the country! According to USNEWS of course. My cousin went there, she loved it!
Update: Waitlisted by MIT, rejected from Northwestern, accepted to Swarthmore. It really is a crapshoot.
