Jerome Fisher is not the typical Penn - admissions to this highly selective program is tantamount to the selectivity at HYP. I'd say you have a 50% shot at Jerome Fisher, and a good shot with the rest of the schools enumerated in your list. Good luck!

UPenn (ED), Jerome Fisher - hope you get in, but they are tough!! Even more than HYP and MIT, Stanford maybe. My senior got accepted (he took like 12APs(all 5), perfect SAT, lab stuff, wrote his own thesis etc) and he was Korean, so he thought MIT was a better choice. Then, UPenn(Jerome Fisher) called him and said why didn't you come to our school, we only admitted 43(i think) students around the world, and YOU were the only one who didn't come. He regretted and regretted I guess, he didn't know how great the programm was. Koreans are kinda stupid about Name values and stuff, they're like GO TO HARVARD, GO TO HARVARD, and UPenn is less known and all that. Just wanted to tell you you're applying to this Super Tough thing, and your stats and all that are GREAT, so I hope you make it, and PLEASE do go there. I feel so sorry for my senior(He's in MIT now, freshmen).

Cornell (legacy) - definitely in, with your stats. But it's an ivy, crapshot.
Brown (legacy if sibling counts) - probably in.
Princeton - I want to say it's a match for you, but then it's an ivy.
UCB - safety?
UCSD - definitely safety.
UCLA - safety?
WUSTL - match
Northwestern - match
Harvey Mudd - match
Swarthmore - match

I want to add Grinnell in your match/safety list. It's a good school, I liked the
admissions officer when he visitied our school. Seriously, "Swarthmore,HarveyMudd, and Grinnell" came together and others
were so boring.

Wow, only one person turned down Jerome Fisher? My friend's sister got in a couple years ago, but also chose MIT over JF. I didn't realize it was that rare.. anyway, I'm definitely expecting to get rejected from Jerome Fisher, just because I don't think that I could be in the top 40-50 students that apply, and the fact that I'm not allowing the program to defer me (I chose to apply ED SEAS should I be rejected) I believe makes my chances a little worse. But hey, since UPenn is my top choice I figured there's no harm in trying.

gmman, according to my exact calculations from years of careful analysis and study, these are your chances at these colleges. Yes, ur chances at UCSD really are greater than 100%. Good luck, and may the force be with u.

honestly man, jerome fisher is a 50/50 chance for you. You are obviously very qualified academically but you lack business ec's, so jerome fisher might be a little difficult even for you to get into. However, I personally believe that you will get in just because you have such good grades and test scores, your other ec's are good too. best of luck homey (hopefully ill see you around when im at penn too)

Yeah, I had a bit of trouble writing my Jerome Fisher essay because I didn't have much in the way of solid business anecdotes to tell. I'm hoping that they'll assume that I'm very interested in business just because I'm applying to the program :/
