I am confused bc I think I was just rejected from Cornell the only ivy I applied to yet I got some transfer option about getting in my sophomore year
My son only got a waitlist for Cornell…denied HPY, Brown 
He really wanted Brown so kind of a bummer, but oh well…life goes on. CMU next…

Accepted to brown, waitlisted at yale, princeton, upenn, cornell, dartmouth, rejected harvard. Still don’t know how since I didn’t know what Ivy League was until 11th grade. Good luck everyone!
@mocktrialer5 where are you seeing that transfer offer? In an email?
@mocktrialer5 - it is called a guaranteed transfer. You go somewhere else for freshman year and as long as you meet the requirements (gpa, specific classes and number of credits) you are guaranteed admission as a transfer as a sophomore. DS was offered this two years ago but loved where he landed so did not transfer.
How do you get a guarantee transfer, do you apply for one?
I only applied to 2: Harvard & Columbia.
Rejected at Harvard but Accepted at Columbia!

@cprepster18 You either are or are not offered a guaranteed transfer in your decision. You can’t apply for it.

so i didn’t get rejected everywhere yayy
DS was just rejected from Cornell, Yale and UPenn. Still happy about being accepted at WashU, CW and UVA etc… Still waiting for Tufts tomorrow. Congratulations to everyone that has been accepted . In all reality more than 90% get rejected and son is doing ok. As he said; can always try the Ivies for Grad school / Med School .

no acceptances , but thats ok bc Vanderbilt did.

S was rejected at Princeton, accepted to Yale!!! He only applied to the two. He got into some amazing schools, which should make it a hard choice, but I think I can safely say I’m a Yale Class of 2022 Mom!!!
