Thanks so much, guys! My parents are so stressed, as I'm sure all of us are! Can't wait to hear everyone's results!

You certainly would be considered for the Ivy league schools - you just need to wait

anyone offering chance information won’t really help you here

leeloo?

From the fifth element?

Hey! We r pretty similar (I’m a Hispanic with similar scores on the sat, at a very highly ranked public school) but one thing really jumped out at me. You say you took 6 AP classes, but the AP exams that you state are only 4. Did you not take those exams, because that could be something an ivy would question, or so I’ve been told (I’ve taken 10 APs, but at my school choosing not to take an exam causes you to fail automatically as school policy). Regardless, you’ve done everything you can, and I wish you the best of luck. Hopefully March 28th brings both of us some good news. You can never tell with the ivies etc!

swampdraggin, thanks so much, fingers crossed!

kimmylouie, yeah! My family is obsessed with that movie, we watch it every time it comes on TV. Good catch, usually people don’t get the reference.

cbear2017, 4 of my AP classes I’m taking this year, so I haven’t been able to take those AP tests yet, and I took Calc AB last year and Calc BC this year, so I didn’t take the AB exam since the BC exam covers both. We’re not required to take the AP exams at my school since the scores don’t come back until July and so they wouldn’t affect our grades. March 28 is going to be an exciting day, for sure!

Anyone else mind giving my stats a look?

The Ivies you mentioned are almost always reaches, although being Hispanic is a minor hook.

I think you would likely make it to at least one Ivy/Duke/ND

how do interviews work? do you have to travel to that college to do an interview with them? bc that seems annoying, time consuming, and expensive

please chance me btw?

Thanks, BuBBLES FoR SALE!

Anxious Ron, for my interviews an alumn who lived close to me called or emailed me and we met either at a coffee shop or their office. The interviews lasted anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half. They were really fun to do, in my opinion. Also, it’s nice that the alumns contacted me and I didn’t have to call them to set anything up. My Yale interview was a little different than the others, and they had all of the interviewees come to an office building downtown and we each had 45 minutes/an hour with an interviewer, so it was less individual but still a good experience.

Oh I get it. I was just confused since I didn’t know about the AB/BC thing. AP scores don’t count towards your grade at my school, but if you don’t sit for the test in may you automatically fail the class :frowning: good luck, and here’s hoping we are all smiling on March 28th!!
