I am a High School student.
My school is extremely difficult and practically no one has all As. I currently have a 3.75 GPA and I am in the top 3% of my class.
Will my low GPA hinder my opportunity to enter to the university of my dreams?
Thank you.

No.

Nope. They will look at your GPA in the context of your school. If you are taking one of the most difficult schedules in your school, and still have a top 3% class rank, you’re fine.

My D was in the same boat. No one from her school graduates with 4.0. Send at least 15-20 (out of a class of 125) to the Ivy League each year.

@butterfreesnd said it best. Sometimes, a student can get a 4.0 in a super easy curriculum and other times, a 4.0 completely unattainable. Some schools inflate grades, some don’t. It really depends on what your rank is and what other students are getting. If you have a 3.75 and that is #1 in your class, colleges will see that and value it. But if you have a 3.75 and you are 40/100, then, there is reason for concern. :)
