Ivy League - apply early for financial aid?

Do any of the Ivy League schools require students to apply early to be considered for financial aid? Or will students be considered for financial aid regardless of application submission date?

I was hoping someone could give me a quick answer. Thanks.

Given their general expense, the idea that RD applicants are ineligible for aid would make applying basically senseless for many people.

Your assumption is wrong. FA is offered to RD applicants as well.

Thanks for the response. I was actually asking whether submission date during RD matters for FA.

I’m now assuming it doesn’t. However, would earlier submission during RD give an admissions advantage?

"However, would earlier submission during RD give an admissions advantage? "

No. For schools which have EA or ED, their time is spent doing those up until early December. For the larger RD pools, they read the files that are completed first. This means that for most students, they don’t control when the files get read because school documentation, rec letters and possibly test reports – come in after the deadline. You might be the early bird and get your app in tomorrow. But if your school report hits the office in late January – guess what? your file won’t be read until late january.

Also think about this: what benefit would it be to the school to arbitrarily favor a large segment of the pool for no reasons than their teachers sent rec letters in faster than the others?

I know ivy aspirants are trying to squeeze every iota of information out of the arcane system of admissions for some slight advantage but this is a dead end road. Good luck to you.
