Ivy League for grad school after USF

With perfect graders, high gpa, and load of extracurriculars, would USF undergrad student have a for an Ivy grad school?
Or do "you HAVE to graduate from AT LEAST UF if you want to shoot high for your masters/whatever"? <--- what I heard from some people.

Some USF graduates do graduate studies at Ivy league schools and also at other excellent graduate schools.

If you have excellent grades and have done the “right” things to prepare yourself for a graduate program it is certainly possible. just ask your professors how you can best position yourself for the program you are interested in.

Whoever said that you have to get an education from UF in order to pursue a graduate degree from an Ivy school is not only ignorant, but just plain wrong. UF doesn’t prepare you any better, nor makes you look any more competitive than a student from USF. Despite what many gator-lovers and pompous UF-grads might like to think, UF is NOT an “Public-Ivy” school, just another university in Florida. Each university is not rated on an overall basis, but instead on the programs they have to offer. Just because UF has been around since the discovery of fire doesn’t make them any more superior. What matters is individual performance and potential to succeed.

Thank you!!! Your responses certainly made me feel better!!
