I am going into my second year of high school and plan on attending a high ranked college. I would ideally like to attend Harvard or Yale. Im afraid to depend on getting into a ivy league college, because I could very well be denied. I take all honors classes currently and plan on taking most ap classes. I am also a solid rower on my crew team and would like to row in college. I have over 175 hours of community service and also am active in student government as well as meeting with the mayor in my city. I just feel that I have stuff going for me, but I'm no where near the smartest person in my grade. My average grade is probably around a 93 or 94, but math is my weakpoint and I get in the lower 80s. What would you say?

I would say become a much, much better than solid rower.

I would say chill out and do well in your classes for now. Don't even think about college until summer of junior year. I promise you'll enjoy high school much better this way. There's really no way you can "plan" on attending a high ranked college at such an early point in your career; "hope" is a much better word for it.

thanks, hope is definatley the better word.

definitely not definatly, spell it right and you might get in!
