Hey guys,
So I was wondering what are my chances of getting accepted to top universities such as Harvard, Yale, Columbia and Stanford. I would ideally like to row at one of these universities so I will also put my rowing statistics down below and see if anyone has a basic idea of where I stand in admittance.
- - - - ACADEMIC - - - - - Class Rank = 3/160 Straight A's throughout senior year (4.0 GPA - unweighted) SAT = 2230 Completed both YR12 Maths and English during Year 11 (extension courses) Legal Studies, Chemistry and Ancient History Subject Prizes (top of the subject in our cohort)
- - - - EXTRACURRICULAR - - - - - Cross Country Open Team Yr11 & 12 Rowing - Open 1st VIII - 2 seat (starboard) - Won Head of the River Placed 3rd in the Australian National Regatta for the Schoolboy M8+ Finals Won Gold at States in the M8+ 162lbs or 73kg - standing 5'9" - 2km P.B. erg = 6:37.4 Senior A's Debating Team
- - - - LEADERSHIP - - - - - Durantee House Vice-Captain Member of the Student School Council
I understand that these are not the best statistics from a student applying to an Ivy League and that the essay and interview process are heavily taken into account - but, do you think these stats would get me looked at (considered)?
Thanks guys!
