How many have Scholar as their status? Just wondering how many of us.
Well, thereās @EarlyAction2020, you (@dprice386) and me. So 3 so far
Iāve heard from about 6 people so far. I wouldnāt be very surprised if any of them were actually named Scholars. So the portal listing could be accurate. BUT, wait for official word. As someone who was rejected from a few things at the last minute last year, itās crushing. Wait until itās set in stone to celebrate.

This scholarship was honestly the difference between UC San Diego and community college for me. Iāve been doing scholarships since sophomore year and somehow or other I just couldnāt snag a scholarship (like @CourtneyThurston mentioned, Iāve been rejected last minute) that would allow me the opportunity to go to a UC.
@textbooksmartie Good luck! UCās are hella expensive, but they sound amazing. My friend and I were accepted to San Diego as well, but itās completely out of consideration because of money. At this point, I went ahead and put in my deposit for Rollins College because itād be hard to justify passing it up. Iām waiting on a few scholarship decisions still, but honestly theyāre all long shots - like JKC.
@awakeningvenus Iāll point out again that I was named semifinalist and had no update on my portal to even that status, so the status isnāt even 100% accurate already, not even taking into account potential listed finalists.

I believe they changed everyoneās status back to Complete because people asked about it.
My portal changed back to saying complete now. Looks like we canāt get too excited.

I called today and they still said āin the coming weeks weāll notify everyoneā
I also asked if we didnāt receive any requests for additional information if we were out of the running and the woman told me that they are still actively reviewing files and that Iām -not- (necessarily) out of the running because I never got a request. So stay positive peopleā¦ anything can happen! Positive Thoughts = Positive Outcomes
Anyone called or heard anything? Transfer scholarship decisions have been made and decisions are starting to be sent.

They called me around 2 pm today and told me I was selected as a recipient, but I donāt think they have notified everyone yetā¦ not 100% sure
Congrats to you @dprice386 ! We did not get the call, but after our semifinalist notification, we were not asked for additional info, my Dās portal never changed etc. we are not surprised. We were also at the higher end of the allowable income scale. Congrats again!
