@mariamsaleh sadly, i can’t provide any answers about that. the foundation is closed until monday. the semifinalist stage is new this year and we’re not granted inside access into the selection process.
for now, try to focus on your class work as you approach graduation and er, avoid jumping to conclusions.
what school(s) do you hope to get into? how many did you apply for/will apply for? just a head’s up: even if a school has stopped accepting applications, you can still haggle with them.
I am already set for college applications and summer programs, just waiting on the foundation for the final decisions. I received news that I was a finalist winner for my state’s governor award out of 57 nominations and only one student gets it! I am also nominated for another award and waiting to hear from PTK as well in April.
I feel like a competent applicant for the JKCF and this is why I have high hopes. Even though, I should always expect lower hopes in order to stay balanced.
Im also waiting to hear from PTK. Is anybody here going to PTK internationals?

I received a semi-finalist email from Jack Kent Cooke as well. I was wondering how many people they narrowed it down to in the semi-finals? Does anyone know?
@ForestryGuy - Did they ask for more financial information because you forgot to fill yours out completely, previously?
If you guys try to get to your dashboard where all of us fill the application form it says Notifications have been sent via email on March 8. If you have not received a notification email, please check your spam filter. If you still not received notification, please contact us at 800-941-3300 or email scholarship@jkcf.org I believe those who received an e-mail yesterday the foundation is jut trying to clear their information correctly. Or else the dashboard would of said the date of yesterday that they had send another via email.

@sammyclaire23 I don’t believe I missed any information on my financial forms. I don’t think it would have let me submit the initial application with anything not filled in.
I was wondering about All-USA! I got the New Century Scholarship, which one person from every state and several other territories gets. And some of those people can become All-USA recipients. They already sent the email about the President’s Breakfast, so I figured the notifications about All-USA had already come in.
Is that not so? I’m excited to hear about that one too!
Also, I assumed that the JKCF only requests follow up financial information from some people. My parents’ and my income was straightforward and very low so I figured they didn’t need to see more income information from me or know about special circumstances this year. I wouldn’t worry about it.

For All-USA you are correct, winners have already been notified, that is what the national ptk office said. Apparently the 20 winners cannot tell anyone until after they are published in usa today, so even if you got it you would deny it right now!
