January 2009 SAT Experimental Sections

Apparently I had writing experimental. I know I didn't have the math one, and I didn't have the writing one... but I can't remember any examples from the writing part lol

The SC with peeved and disenchanted...anyone remember if that was in the experimental section?

did you have the writing with the "career options" passage to edit?

i know my experimental section was cr... i hope its the 7th section though... i found it tougher than the other cr sections...

Yeah. The one about Mae Jemison or something.

i had experimental writing too. i did bad on 4 and better on 5.
section 4 had a question like:
the mayor, whose administration had been riddled with blah blah

section 5 had something like skating parks

yeah same here. the two separate passage section was pretty hard. i think it was like sectoin 6 or 7? dont remember =.

i think the experimental is one of the first two crit read tho, sadly, because i did really good on the first two. i think its one of the first two because they had the same format. like vocab, two short passages, and one long passage.

and how did you do on the last cr, the double-passage one.

If I didn't make mistake, yours is exactly the same as my version.

I find that we need someone who has experimental sec other than WR to help us determine it...

Hey~~anyone on this SAT has a different experimental sec please help us !!!!

OMG me too! section 4 was horrible but 5 was easy,

I remember CR sec is : one has 23 questions with one passage, one has 24 questions with two seperate passage, and the last is 20 questions (20 min's one) with 2 passage combined.

I had a Writing experimental. Do you guys remember whether the improving paragraph was talking about "working with old people" ?

Me, too. BTW, one of my classmate's name is Naomi, ^_^

Math: Pentagram inscribed in a circle
CR: Helen Keller I believe
Writing: If you didn't have one of the above. (I had this one, but I can't think of an example)

lol thats not my real name. it's actually tina
im soo glad the sats are over though

Oh tina, nice to meet you~
I am glader than you. Today is my fifth SAT( 4 on I, 1 on II. -_-!! ) and now I can throw all these thick books away.

i had two back-to-back writing sections. The second one asked about the codfish and the weird temple

WHich one is experimental?

heyy, who are you?
lol its my 3rd time taking it. im aiming for a 2270 and i have soo many books too!

uhhh. okayyy now....

btw whats the answer for hagia sophia? Was it the answer choice about the tiles? (it was in past tense)

The codfish one, i think, uses codfish as singular because codfish can be either singular or plural depending on the usage. One of the verbs (idk something like codfish surviveS) so it would be singular...

The SC with enchanged and peeves is not experimental. I had writing experimental so i know which math/CR is experimental

i had a math experimental....does anyone remmeber which problems were in the experimental math section? one of my sectiosn had a number line on the second page of the test. was that the experimental?

I had a weird math section; I found it to be pretty hard.
