January 2009 SAT Experimental Sections

mvmanno- your math section about the scatter plot was definitely experimental

I'm pretty sure the one about Newton and Shakespear was experimental.

I'm uncertain which section was my experimental. I remember having 4 sections of math, however, reading previous posts on nomads/painting/rock, I got that too.

Math or CR experimental?

Does anyone remember whether the experimental section for writing was 4 or 5? I remember that the last question on sentence correction in four was regarding the Louvre museum.

I'm not sure...I had that question on the Louvre too, and I'm trying to figure out if I had writing or math experimental...but apparently writing was a passage on organic foods? i didn't have that.

Math - did everyone get the problem about 4 teams, each playing the other three twice?

Yes I had that math question. Did you have back to back writing sections?

Yes I think the experimental writing section was the one on organic foods and how they are more expensive than non-organic but better for the environment. Did one of your math sections have a scatterplot question? I believe people said that was on the experimental section for math.

scatterplot...was this about tickets and relative ages of teens? answer 32 tickets?

No I think it had to do with either area or volume. It wasn't the one about tickets; that was not experimental. I have a feeling you had the experimental writing section (I think it was section four).

Did you have a question about the Louvre and the astronaut woman? If so then I think you had an experimental writing section and I'm pretty sure it was section four.

I actually two back to back math sections - 2 and 3. I thought everyone had the Mae Jemison/Career options writing section?

Yeah everyone had the one about Mae Jemison, but not everyone had the Louvre. Are you sure you had that one?

The Louvre wasn't a paragraph one. It was just the last sentence correction on section 4. The long paragraph was about organic food. Maybe your experimental was the math section and you never had the one about organic food and the Louvre?

What was on the writing experimental?

I had the same setup as cloudxvii, so pretty sure my math was experimental. i definitely don't remember anything abt a pentagon in a circle though...

CR experimental had the second question about sickle cell virus and malaria

the lovre correction question...something about how its paintings will never be the property of another museum's?

wow, i'm just so confused though. I wonder why i had 2 maths in a row...

For the the test with writing experimental section, i know the two 25 min writing sections were consecutive. Was the first or the second section experimental?

4th section in cr was experimental?? the newton shakespeare one :( s***. i rather hoped it was the 7th section. i don remember the passages tho. i remember this sc question. the friends were easy-going and interested in some tricks or something... another sc was about this woman bringing up her company from rock bottom to profit. does anyone remember this section???

I got a CR passage about individualism and how it's hard to have an individual opinion in a group.

Is this experimental?
