question:

where does fertilization occur & where is the gametophyte: both in the ovum (e) i said

okay so the first part was the blood components.

 1. carries minerals
 2. carries hemoglobin and can attach to oxygen

yess i got E for both.

For 1 I put blood plasma and 2 I put red blood cells

question: what component of blood carries minerals?

i put blood plasma (A)

cccc, the first one was plasma i believe because it is the fluid that carries all the minerals. The second one was red blood cells

Produces antibodies

I put C, white blood cells. (I think the letter was C…)

lacamotif, it was the stigma, which was in the middle of the picture.

I also. wrote the stigma for where fertilization occurs… but now I am confused haha.

hydrolysis of glycogen is glucose right?

Another question, location of pollen production—the anther

@sciencesponge: are you sure? wiki says “Double fertilization refers to a process in which two sperm cells fertilize cells in the ovary.”

& the ovary was E

what was the answer to the question about boiling GREEN leaves in alcohol. I put down that it was to remove the chlorophyll, b/c it said “until the leaves turn white”, but i was not sure between that and “turn glucose into starch” and “open the stomata”

The Hardy equilibrium question for the homozygous recessive question… given that the dominant allele . anyone remember the percent? I think I got 4%

"what was the answer to the question about boiling GREEN leaves in alcohol. "

I also, wrote that it was to remove the chlorophyll because there was no longer green pigmentation. then I left the following question blank.

anther was right for the question where pollens of grain were produced.
lacamotif@ I am not sure b/c the stigma is where the pollen is recieved…not where it is fertilized. I forget the exact wording of the question. so you may be right.

The question regarding the population being spread all over the US of the birds.
From what decade was the population most spread throughout the US( i think something like that)
a. 1905-1915 b. 1915-1925 c. 19125- 1935 d, 1935-1945 or e. 1945-1955

What problem will arise if a Person with B blood receives blood from someone with blood A?

@daredevil, it specifically said us, so the answer was c, where it spread out of the east coast and into the central region.

daredevil, it was that the A antigens would attack the B antigens. It would have been that " the blood would coillulate" or something, if that vocab word was coagulate.
