^to teriyarki (Post #171) - I think it was B.

For the {1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9} problem, this is the proper way to solve it:

You have to find the number if possible combinations of two even numbers that can be drawn from the set. If there are 4 even numbers and you select two at a time, you must use nCr(4,2). This gives you six options (remember, order doesn’t matter for combinations, only permutations). Then you must divide that number by the total amount of possible combinations of all numbers in the set, or nCr(9,2), which ends up being 6/36, or 1/6.

You cannot use 4/9*4/9, because you aren’t picking a number, putting it back, and taking another; you’re drawing two at a time.

sooo for people that’ve taken the math II before, did you think this one was harder? what kind of curve would there be?

soo does anyone feel like answering me or whuuut

I’ve taken it once before but my calculator malfunctioned (didn’t notice until weeks later though). I thought this one was quite a bit harder, but that’s just my opinion.

^to LovexLight - maybe a bit easier. I’d guess -6=800, -7=790.

okay i was just curious haha. i guess all we can do is sit around and wait until we get our scores on feb 10

Agreed. There’s enough to be worried about at the present moment. I’m personally hoping for an 800. Hopefully, we all do well. Good luck everyone!

dude i need an 800 on this because i broke my blackberry and my mom said she’d only buy me a new one if i got a perfect score. ahh hate my life…this means no phone until the 10th…and if i don’t get an 800 it means no phone foreverrrr wahh

3 dayysssss <3

Yup. And I’m sure we are all going to stay up/get up to see our scores the second they come out, right? :D

Don’t they come out at 5 am?

Pardon my ignorance, but this was my first SAT subject test - where do we find out our scores when they come out? Will they be on the College Board site where we can see the exams we’ve registered for?

Yeah, they are available on the Collegeboard site at 2 AM PST.

Just log in and click the “Scores” link under the homepage menu on the top left of the page. Good luck! :)

Oh yikes! Three hours away. Are they usually good about posting them exactly at 2 am?

It’s six hours away.

Oh, I misread and thought it was Eastern Time. -facepalm-

4 hours left! :(

So what are your scores?
I got 800! So happy

800
