Totally agree w/ GoodJobBro.
How can you guys be disappointed with scores of above 2200? XD

It was my first time taking SAT, and I got a 2190.
R:700
M:790

Ugh… just 1 question for math would have made it 2200!

I want to cry right now.
2350… That’s an 80 point jump! 2400 superscore!
No more SATs, finally!

I got a 2340!!! Can I get into Harvard?

I got a straight up 2000…
Math: 690
Critical Reading:650 ---- wow this is usually my best section…what happened?
Writing: 660 — my essay must have been one supreme fail.

Ah well I shouldn’t have expected that high of a score on my first time anyway…

Supereight, I feel the same exact way! I got a 2230 (730 CR, 760 M, 740 W, 12 essay), and I don’t know if I should retake it for Princeton and Stanford. I probably should… but I want to know if it isn’t really necessary.

750 CR
760 M
750 W (11 essay, 70 MC - really disappointed about that)

total: 2260. I think I got 1 math wrong (that stupid question with the number line and positive integers, I put 7 instead of 8), but I’m not sure. was the curve -40 points for one wrong, or did I miss more? is it worth retaking for an 800 on math?

800 M
800 W (MC 80, Essay 11)
750 CR
Total: 2350

Does anyone know how many you missed if you got a 750 on CR?

Everyone here needs to shut up because my scores are so bad I don’t even know what’s going to happen, almost everyone here got above 1800, I’m not even close. I got a 1520, what is wrong with me?

650 CR 800 M 800 WR with 10 essay (got all the mc questions right)

I guess it’s good that this sets a base line for me. While I probably can’t get into my top choices with this (Rice), I have a shot at Wesleyan and Emory. Hoping for a 110 point jump next time.

How do I see my essay score?

I didn’t know the scores came out, but my parents somehow checked for me. They informed me while I was in the shower, and I flipped out.

Time to sign up for March.

Guys, you all need to calm down. Almost every college disregards scores over 2200. Also, look at browns accepted students ranges (650-740 almost across the board). Someone from my school got into vandy with a 29 act. Fortunately, SAT’s are looked at in a smaller way than before. The rest of your application should be stellar once about 2100 is hit it is almost a nothing factor.

@LoseYourself Same scores here, except I got 80 on Writing MC subscore. Do you know how many incorrect questions a 750 equates to? (I’m guessing you answered all of them)

@LoseYourself.

Dude, calm down. Your score is perfectly fine. Anything higher than 2300 is fine for ANY college (harvard, etc.). Have you taken it before? Maybe you can superscore.

@LoseYourself

You sir, are a prick.

M: 760
CR: 750
W: 780

Total: 2290

I like my score, but I’m gonna try and get that 800 in math and superscore to 2330 <3

How do you guys get 11s on the essays? Do you have any tips? I seem to always be stuck at getting 5s… any pointers would really help! :D

CR: 730
Math: 760

Total:2250

Am I screwed over -.- I was aiming for a 2300 but now I just have a crap score that’s nowhere near the 75% of the top schools. I doubt I can improve my CR grade by much. Don’t know what I did wrong in math but with the math score upped to 800, I hope I can get a superscore of 2290. Is that good enough for Stanford expectations Standardized tests are not my forte…

It was slightly disappointing, for sure. I had done much better on the practice reading and math tests (getting 750+ on each)… ugh. Guess I’ll have to retake it again in June. -___-
