January 2013 SAT I CR (Japanese Rice, and others)

What did you guys think of the CR sections?

^ u US?? t’hell?? totally different ****… why?? it’s not fair then…

why have TOTALLY different stuff… they wont all have the same difficulty level… not for everyone… the ENTIRE WORLD takes sth and US sth else then? or how does it go???

I believe there is an international version and 2 different US versions

aha… bah! so unfair… -_-’’

I thought the Japanese Rice one and the Seahorse one were unusually easy. The Cold War passages were kind of confusing. The one about how groups affect opinions was pretty fair. Overall, I thought they were decent.

I found Japanese Rice and Cold War easier than seahorse… was she showing eagerness or determination?

Thats what I put. I put determination and then changed it.
She was like “as I touched the coral I felt something expectation. Will I find it this time?” or something.

how was ur math ppl, btw?

math was easy, but the english part was relly hard for me :(

@20Summer08
I put eagerness and I’m sure about it because she said she was anticipating it

I thought the Math was pretty easy and the Writing was a joke as usual. The Reading also wasn’t too bad except for the passage about how architecture defines our personalities. Overall though, I am fairly confident. Who else had trouble with the essay?

was math too easy?

I thought she felt eagerness, As though that day was her lucky day

the essay topic was easy i filled up 2 pages in less than 20 mins.

essay was pretty confusing i thought, i used gatsby and macbeth. i also got “eagerness” for the seahorse answer. what did you guys get for that vocab question #5 i chose a) acerbic… affronted instead of e) churlish… mollified

Wait I’m confused now
I think I had all four (architecture, seahorse, cold war, and Japanese rice)…but I thought I also had an extra math. XD

I don’t think math was too easy
I think I may have messed some up on writing because I found it easier than normal and I hate writing

I omitted 2 on Math but I think I got every other one right

I disagreed with the essay, used Apple, German tactics in WW2, and The Devil in the White City (a non fic book) by Erik Larson

Yeah I chose the acerbic one
