im just hoping i got a 800 in W 760 in M(-2) and a 740 in reading :
@xuaryaa okay i deleted my comment too, thanks for the warning. did you get the same though?
@xuaryaa How would you know if CB lurks here? Is there any evidence?
I didn’t take the test, but I hope the curves are generous and everybody gets the scores they want and deserve. Remember that scores aren’t anything but digits, whose weight is fully dependent on your perspective.
@xuaryaa They have no way of knowing who you are. College Confidential’s Privacy Policy makes that clear. Suit yourself, though.
hoping that i got an 800 math (up from a 770), a writing score of like 740, and a reading score somewhere in the 700s. this is all wishful thinking, but i didn’t find the test to be too surprising and the only questions i was really unsure about were in reading, so i hope my scores will go well
One of the sent coms I chose despot (which is incorrect) anyone know the correct answer for this question?
Is the writing curve gonna be ridiculous?
Hey guys for the math one, are you sure the answer choice was (a-c)^2 >(b-c)^2 and that it wasn’t (a-b)^2>(b-c)^2
what are you guys doing with any SAT prep books you have? are you just throwing them out? it seems like a waste since I haven’t finished all the practice tests in them.
To those who are taking the make-up, did your admission ticket update yet?
@smileydinosaur , I am one hundred percent sure. I just spent the last half an hour testing it all out. Thankfully, my educated guess was correct. 800 here I come.
@Hickey was that answer choice C?
Hey all, sorry for the late response. There was a sudden power outage at my house, so it hasn’t been the best of days :/.
@Schwinn71 I don’t see how CB could make a new test so quick, and I don’t think they were apprehending the sudden postponements. The test will definitely consist of reused questions, but I don’t know if all of them will be exactly the same as those of this January SAT.
@mayankko Definitely “awarded for”.
Alright see you all…I’ll be sitting this one out. It has been my experience that this thread only serves to depress oneself :P. Meet you back when scores are released.
@smileydinosaur Yes, I tried it out when A,B,C were all negative, when they were all positive, and when they were a mix of both. I’m nearly 100% it’s correct.
(A-B)^2 > (B-C)^2 doesn’t work when a = 0.5, b = -0.1, and c = -0.2, just one random counterexample I found.
Smh test was delayed…
@curlypie99 Either C or D. I’m not really sure.
Guys what was ur essay topic, not the prompt
@zulfiko99 Importance of others advice
@Hickey I’m pretty sure it was C since both D and E had A^2 > something
