@curlypie99 to answer your last question, it was passage 1 compared to passage 2. Sorry!
So how many people missed the “unuse” writing idiom question?
apparently the international sat test in jan was a repeat of usas dec 2015
does anyone have any link to that so I can checl answers? or if anyone knows the curve
@JuicyMango what is this unuse question
for the reading passage about celebrity publicity rights what did you guys get for these questions:
- The author of passage 2 would view an argument referenced in passage 1 as... I put with sympathy and approval.
- What would the author of passage 2 say about court decisions? I put that it needs to use broad principles of economic fairness but I was stuck between that or that they need to protect the economically disadvantaged. I thought the economically disadvantaged would be wrong because it was too specific/absolute and I doubt the author would think that the court decisions should ALWAYS favor poor people, no matter what
@baryonic I just remember on one of the writing questions that I immediately marked as (No error), “unuse” was underlined which is not an actual words. It was something like “this guy was keeping his words from going into (unuse)”. Maybe I’m just imagining this question? I hope so, cause then I still have a chance at getting an 800 in writing.
those are all what i put. 760cr in dec.
^@curlypie99 Same i dont remember it
@JuicyMango i doubt it was there, r u sure?
I messed up the reading so bad
even tho I was doing good in practice
had the worst luck possible
@JuicyMango “unuse” or whatever was not underlined
@pillowspillows Man I really hope your right because going through the June 201 4 thread, I’m pretty confident I got an 800 in math and critical reading, so I may still have a chance at a perfect. But I’m not going to cry over a 2300+ lol. I asked my friends and they don’t remember it either so you may be correct.
what about that question in the Ethiopian med student passage…
-what was the “sound” referring to?
i put embodiment of unfamiliar customs but i think it could also be byproduct of being a newcomer, but the second one was vague to me so i put embodiment
@garyasho2 i dont remember the question either but i remember not choosing that answer choice for whatever reason
@garyasho2 I don’t remember either but I put something else as well. Everyone’s saying that the “biased” option is currect which makes me wanna cry. The only reason I took this SAT was to get a better reading score for superscore, but I already got at least 5 wrong sooo
@JuicyMango don’t worry. I’m pretty sure “unuse” is a real word anyways?
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/unuse
@JuicyMango that was probably an experimental writing section? Because I didn’t encounter that question…
@curlypie99 it was embodiment of customs because the passage didn’t infer that he was part of a by-product
@thenonchosenone A person who got 800 (-0) on June SAT 2014 said that it was a byproduct so…
Does anyone remember what they put for the last two writing questions for the 10 min section? I can’t remember how I responded
hey was the January 2016 test considered hard?
