@garyasho2 doesn’t the sound represent American customs? The dude never heard these sounds back home in kenya or whatever. Pretty sure your definition only supports the customs answer. The sounds aren’t literally customs. They are unique representations or “embodiments” of American customs.
Lol maybe i didnt read the question right. What was it?
@garyasho2 oh okay i thought you meant he remembered his answers from back then i was like …? haha. that still doesnt make sense to me but it was a weird question overall soooo. there were a lot of questions like that on this SAT
(you can miss 2 and still get an 800, did he say he missed none)
@JuicyMango do you remember what answers you put for the last two writing questions in the 10 min section? (And how they read, because I don’t remember the letter answers)
@Mikeyman7 Uhh I remember putting “daughters” as wrong for the last one, but I don’t remember the 2nd last one. I think I put no error, but I’m not sure.
@JuicyMango I think we may be talking about different questions. One was about a man and his operas, and the other one was about a company doubling their stores (than or as)
@JuicyMango what did you say for the “scholarly opinions on publicity rights” vs “celebrities’ publicity rights”? I was so torn between the two choices
@JuicyMango I put “celebrity’ publicity rights” as well. @livelovelol The scholar answer has to be incorrect because it doesn’t refer to the main idea of the passage.
Looking back at the June 2014 questions it seems like there are a lot of similarities between the January 2016 test and the one taken in June 2014.
With that in mind, it seems like the Math Curve will be harse, the Writing curve will be good, and the reading curve will be really generous (As in get 3 wrong and still get an 800 type of generous), if the June 2014 test is any indication of yesterday’s test.
There was a person who said his son only wrote an introduction paragraph and still got a 7. One of my friends got a 9 and he only wrote 1 page.
Therefore, I think you will be fine. The prompt for this SAT was kinda meh, so I think you’ll be alright if you wrote 1.75 pages.
I wrote only 1.25 pages and I’m expecting a 8-9 at least, especially since I developed my examples quite well, however I didn’t finish my conclusion because I took too much time planning.
@ratclown It wasn’t 3 since it had to be below 30 january (x axis), but above 40 annual (y axis), therefore only 1 city matched that description. I am 100% sure about this. (January and Annual precipitation might be on different axis, but I am certain that the answer is 1).
