will the collegeboard give different tests for those who didn’t take it on saturday
I am from NJ and we didn’t take the test
@rand123 The test on cracksat is wrong I think.
how to get real june test
Can someone estimate my math score with 3 ommited and 1 maybe 2 wrong with june 2014’s curve?
Also been wondering lately with a 4.0 unweighted (my school is on the easier side), what kind of SAT scores do i need to make applying to ivies and other good schools reasonable? I currently have a 2060 from november (750m 620r 690wr). Also my dad went to Brown. How much would that help?
Looks like you guys got lucky with the repeat lol
Do you guys know what hapened last Jan when the SAT was postponed 2 weeks? Was it the same test or a different one for makeups?
I seriously doubt it would be the same test
@SandrewP imo that depends more on your ethnicity and socioeconomic background (but remember schools want more than just scores overall). Last year, my school had an African American student who was accepted by Yale, Princeton, and Brown with a 2020. We had about 4 or 5 Asians with 2400s get rejected from all 8 Ivy’s. HOWEVER, being a legacy is a big advantage for Brown. Think I heard around 30-40% get in.
@JuicyMango we could do that but we also have to remember that you can miss 2 and get an 800 on CR so we should ask someone who not just got an 800 but missed none as well
this thread is so much more dead than November’s
So…anyone from June 2014 wanna help a few brothas and sistahs out???
Does anyone know the answer to the reading passage about the guy from Ethiopia? It was the one asking about what the sound represented. It was either the embodiment of the new culture or a by-product of new immigrant status
@L3tan3 most people on here thought it was byproduct, so if you’re going with majority, then i guess it would be that.
what would a -1 and an 8 essay be? around 770?
@L3tan3 i had -1 and 10 essay on my last one and got a 790 so i think -1 and 8 essay would be lower, like 730-760
@curlypie99 I had a -1 and 9 essay on my last one and got a 760, so I would say a -1 and 8 essay would be around a 750-760 to narrow the prediction down.
On the critical reading, there was a question that ask if this certain line is a simile, personification, metaphor, etc… what did you guys pick?
simile
