January SAT I for admission

Quoted from UVA FAQ "We strongly prefer that you complete all your testing by December of your senior year; but we will accept scores from January for the SAT II tests. U.Va. does not accept rush scores from the College Board."

Does this mean no SAT I?????

Yes, I think so. It's getting late in the year. Time to get all the ducks-in-a row. Best of luck.

We started reading applications about a month ago. It will probably be a few weeks (February 14th is the date on the website) before ETS gets us scores from the testing that just happened on Saturday. These scores are just a bit too late.

Of course we'll "accept" your scores, but we've probably gotten through about half of the applications at this point and in a few weeks there will be a few thousand more files read. We can't promise that we'll have these January scores when we review your application.

ok i understand, me and my friend have been arguing about this forever, send them but don't count on them

Yea, it's worth the 9.50 to send them even if it's just an off-chance I guess.

b called another school and was told that even though they don't take rushed scores, they get them electronically and that it gets to them quicker than to you? and that it would get to the school before the deadline on the website stating when you hear the scores. it is worth trying. he took it cause a school suggested it and said they would accept it. so he just sent it to all of the other schools thinking why not, it is free! and it might sway the school he is trying to get into on Honors ( apps are due for the Honors program later at this school).
