I plan to take the SAT Reasoning test again in January, but I'm not sure if those scores will be received in time. On Stanford's admissions website, it states that the very latest possible testing date for regular admissions is December.

Any one else considering to send in their January scores for regular admission?

I know harvard and princeton and many other schools of stanford's caliber accept the january sat for rd, but if it says that on the website then I would go by it or call the admissions office and double check.

If they say Dec testing, it's hard to believe they will accept test scores from a test date at the end of Jan... but no harm in asking. I'm doubtful.

You should definitely ask. If you don't have any scores at all yet, you should absolutely take the ACT on stand-by on Saturday and then submit the SAT scores later. Better late, then never, but if you application is incomplete, then they probably won't even look at it.

If you just want to raise that score a hundred points or so or are taking subject tests, don't sweat it, I'd say. Even if you submit a score late, it's going to be kind of hard to ignore scores staring them in the face from your file. But if they never review that file because it's incomplete then you've lost.
