January SAT

The deadline for the school is January 1 (also SAT), so I submitted my scores. However, I am signed up for January 26 SAT. If I were to take it and score much higher, will this help me? Or will they not regard it at all?

Depends on the school. If the school states they will accept January scores for retakes, then yes it will help you if you score higher. If they don't, then it won't help/hurt you.

Do you know if any of these do?

Boston U
Georgetown
NYU
Emory
Carnegie Melon
Washington U
Dartmouth
Cornell

Not off the top of my head, no, but that information should be easy to find on each college's website.

Can't find it anywhere...

NYU: NYU > Undergraduate Admissions > Applying for Admissions > Freshman Applicants > Standardized Tests

[quote]
If you are a freshman applying for Regular Decision (application deadline January 15th), you must complete all of your testing by the December test date at the latest.
