<p>I'm a current high school senior and I was recently accepted into the Jazz program at NEC. I am very surprised and excited and I was wondering if anyone had any insight or experience with the program.</p>

<p>I don’t have experience with that program, but we would like to include you in the master list of acceptances. Can you tell us your instrument or voice?</p>

<p>Are you silentcygnet’s son? When both parent and student are CC members, we prefer to put the acceptances in the student’s name. Let me know and I will change all of the reported acceptances.</p>

<p>crbjazz, welcome and congrats. If you use the links here and go to the last post in each, you can scan the listing for those posters at NEC. I think there is a jazz guitarist from each of these two lists. You may want to send them a private message or an email through the forums features. If you need help with the “how to”, someone can walk you through it. You can also search the forum for posts by a specific user.</p>

<p>Has any other program heard from NEC? I talked to them two weeks ago, and they said any day… Still nothing…</p>

<p>And I heard this past Saturday, though I am located in the Boston area. Perhaps Jazz admissions are on a different calendar, though unfortunately there’s no real way of knowing.</p>

<p>Sopranorose, tenormama indicated her son’s acceptance for NEC, BM vocal performance late yesterday evening. The only other NEC’s apparent are for jazz.</p>

<p>My daughter called NEC today and they said letters would be going out in the mail all week…and everything “by the end of the week.”</p>

<p>I am in the Boston area too… And I suppose it’s a moot point, as I am already 100% positive I am going to Purchase… But I still want to know!!</p>
