<p>I just enrolled at Oberlin for Jazz studies on piano.</p>

<p>I know a fair bit about the school from visiting, but I'd like to get some info from current/former Obies.</p>

<p>Congrats, Groovemerchant–my son is a freshman jazz studies student. I think there is usually a Facebook group for the conservatory–I bet you can get more student input there. I know its been a great year for my son–and this weekend is going to bring an amazing array of jazz musicians to Oberlin. Lucky you: four years in that gorgeous new building!</p>

<p>BassDad: I was also accepted to Michigan State University, Wayne State University, Bowling Green State Unversity and waitlisted to University of Michigan.</p>
