I’m gonna be out and about all day tomorrow and then I have TWO college interviews late in the afternoon and I don’t want to be dressed in a stiff blazer and dress pants all day long.
Would it be appropriate to wear a beige cardigan with a nice shirt inside, a black scarf and very DARK wash jeans that aren’t super skinny? (and nice black dress shoes)
In the e-mails my interviewers sent to me to set up the interview, the first one said “This interview is casual” and the second didn’t mention whether or not the interview is casual.
So far I’ve found that even if they mention interview is casual, it’s better to be dressed nicely. I’d recommend you bring nice clothes with you and change in a restroom somewhere before you go to the interviews.
Dress like you took time and effort to put yourself. So basically, shower and don’t show up like you rolled out of bed. Your outfit should be more than fine.
