Jeopardy of losing acceptance?

Hey guys. As bad as this sounds, there is a possibility that I may end with a D in AP Physics C for first semester. The thing is, I never got a D in my life… and the reason why this may happen is because I didn’t take a background Physics class junior year like everyone else did. I just jumped straight into the hardest Physics class and that was a big mistake… If the worst case scenario, I do end with a D, will OSU take away my acceptance and potential scholarships? Also, if I do end with a D, should I let the admissions know right away? Hopefully I won’t end with a D…

You will have to submit a final transcript I believe but if you have already been accepted I don’t see them changing their decision. The only reason I would see scholarships being revoked is if you no longer met the criteria for it.

@Chris02‌ I hope so man. I’m an Illinois resident and I know a ton of people that got accepted to UIUC and got like Ds senior year and lost their acceptances…

Keep in mind there a lot of seniors who apply to OSU, and do you think they check every grade on every admitted student transcript while dealing with the 25000+ apps?

I would not worry. My son got a D in AP Chemistry the second semester of senior year and they did not withdraw his acceptance. He was just lazy and had senioritis, unlike you who actually has a pretty good excuse for not doing very well.
