<p>so i got my room assignment today which was in the west jester, 14th floor. is that one of the renovated floors? i sure do hope so..</p>

<p>East and West are basically the same. 8th floor is not renovated, I believe.</p>

<p>It’s seriously not as bad as I thought. I did get one of the renovated connecting bathrooms during orientation, but I did check out some of the other, standard rooms as well, and I really didn’t notice anything that would really deter me from living there.</p>

i think it’s currently undergoing renovations.
I lived in the 4th floor at orientation and remember waking up at 7 in the morning every day to construction.</p>

<p>Btw construction only happens in dorms during the summer, it won’t continue during the year.</p>

<p>Why Two Kay - thats not true. I remember kids staying in JWest had to endure the construction noise coming from the second floor near J2</p>

<p>Well that wasn’t actually construction on the rooms/floors though, that was in the lobby. (Which I believe is finished now, yeah?) The fact that you could hear it through some of the walls was unfortunate. I was just reassuring people that there wouldn’t be construction on their floor during the year or something, as that would be ridiculous.</p>

i heard that jester west has no renovations…where did u hear that it did??</p>

<p>according to DHFS Jester West has not been renovated and has built-in furniture.</p>

<p>Dang it I’m thinking Jester East. EAST is renovated, WEST Entrance and Floor 2 (near J2 and the lounge) is semi renovated</p>
