Jewish life at Earlham?

D is a junior, and we are beginning to research small liberal arts colleges. We read about Earlham and were intrigued; the descriptions of the student body seem to fit with D--but we would like to find out information about the existence and quality of Jewish life at the school.

If anyone can provide this information, we would appreciate it!

Earlham has a Jewish Cultural Center that hosts Shabbat dinners each week. Here's a link to the campus ministry site, from which you can link to the JCC:
<a href="http://www.earlham.edu/%7Esas/ministry/%5B/url%5D">http://www.earlham.edu/%7Esas/ministry/</a></p>

My D is starting there as a freshman next week so we don't have any first-hand experience with the JCC.

Suzy, I assume by your response that you are Jewish? If so, was the amount/quality of Jewish life a significant consideration in your d's college search or more of a minor one?

You can send me a private email if you would prefer. Thanks for your response.

bump if you please

I heard somewhere that there was a klezmer band at Earlham and-or in Richmond. might be more of an informal thing than a permanent thing.
