<p>I actually had the same question as I am a jewish (female) as well..when I visited, I did notice signs up about the Hillel which was comforting.</p>
<p>To my knowledge, Hillel is becoming much more active. I have friends who work with the organizations, and friends who take part in the activities and dinners they offer.</p>
