JHU for non-pre med

My first impression of JHU is that it is for a pre-med type of education and a pipeline into top med schools. What about for business? Law?

While it is true that Hopkins probably has a higher percentage of students planning to become physicians than most Ivy’s and other top tier schools, premeds are still a decided minority of students. Hopkins is a well-balanced university although, again, compared to its peer institutions, it has a somewhat heavier emphasis on science and engineering. It is, however, a great place to prepare for a career in law or business. Most of the departments in humanities and social sciences are top notch.

Yup. My daughter is interested in social sciences, and found JHU to be a “well kept secret” regarding those areas.
