<p>I love them both. I know not how to pick. Any advice? Or even criteria to consider? What makes someone happy? What will ensure that I won't transfer out?</p>

<p>Go with JHU. It has a much more regarded humanities program (that term itself is quite vague). WashU is highly regarded as well, but its programs do not have as much clout as JHU's. Plus, in my opinion, JHU's campus is infinitely more impressive/historic/beautiful. Its also in Baltimore, which is definitely a hip-happening city.</p>
<p>meh. I would go to WashU because i dont want to be surrounded with 50% of people who are in orgo and really competative.</p>

<p>I get the impression more people would be taking Orgo ar WUSTL than JHU.</p>
<p>Both schools are full of pre-med competitive types. If you dont want that, choose another school.</p>

I don't know if I'll mind the premed people...I'm a bit of a nerd myself...but it' these two or Chicago, which I've completely eliminated.</p>

<p>WashU - safe campus and surroundings, great dorms and food, more undergrad-focused professors, better social life, warmer weather - easy decision.</p>
<p>I've actually made my decision. Johns-Hopkins it is.</p>
