anyone know basics to get into John Hopkins??

get A's in hard courses, graduate top 5%, take the SAT and shove it in collegeboard's face, participate in activities that show initiative and passion (ie, taking courses at a local CC because your high school doesn't offer XXXXXX course, internships, running fundraisers for cystic fibrosis, etc. etc.), write killer essays, get good teacher recs....

Honestly, other than that, not much that I or anyone else besides an admissions counselor could tell you.

EDIT: btw, why JHU?

Johns Hopkins is one of the few schools that requires three SAT subject tests rather than two. So keep that in mind (unless you're planning to take the ACT instead).
