Need your thoughts and help about jmu. I would like to know, if possible, how would you rank the top 5 postives and negatives. Thanks a lot.
<p>I am considering jmu as well (BU v. JMU)
Go to studentsreview.com or campusdirt.com
They have current/graduated students take on the school.. I read them all so carefully, and got the feeling that everyone is freaking happy. </p>
<p>I know a lot of ppl from jmu, so here's my take</p>
<p>positives:
VERY friendly student body
VERY MUCH of a party school (free beer everywhere)
Many hot girls (if you're boy that's always a plus lol)
Pretty campus
Small classes/more contact with professors</p>
<p>Negatives:
Location (harrisonburg? are you kidding?)
General Ed.
Too many girls (:P)
absolutely no diversity at all
Student body is segregated (I hear)</p>
<p>I'd love to hear other's opinions on jmu as well. I need some good reasons to go to jmu and give up living in boston.. :P </p>

<p>I would not go. JMU does not have a great reputation locally (I am a VA resident)</p>
<p>But then again its is simply not my cup of tea. There are people who are perfectly content there. Just ignore my comment.</p>
