Job I applied for

I applied for a job at Aeropostale, but haven't heard back yet. Should I call them? BTW I didn't see a sign saying they were hiring but still, no interview yet.

It's always best to call. It shows initiative. A lot of stores don't even look at your application until they get a call, especially during the summer when the labor pool is full.

Aeropostale.......who wouldn't want to sell thongs to 13 y/o girls...

i joke, money is money, and the fact that you're trying to get yours legally already puts you above a lot of people in the world.

I imagine that's a popular place to work. Good luck, calling can never hurt.

better yet, go in to see the manager.. don't wait for them to call you, because they probably won't, and by going in yourself or at least calling it shows that you really want the job

More than half of all retail jobs, they will never call you back. I applied to 3 a few months ago: Puma, Lacoste, and Express. I got a call-back from only one place. I now work at Express Mens. haha.
