Job predicament- advice?

Ok so I've been looking for a job and lots of places are now hiring since kids will be going back to college and whatnot and I've been able to apply to a few places. I have an interview Thursday at Panera, but it's not my first choice. I've also applied to a brand new, soon to be opening Dollar Tree, TJ Maxx, 2 grocery stores, and an indoor glow in the dark mini golf place at the mall. No one wants to work in food except for chefs so obviously the other places are better options. Now my problem is I don't want to go interview at Panera then get hired and then be offered an interview/another job at a better place and quit after a week or two there, that'd be a total a-hole move. I do however have the option to interview next Thursday and see how things play out with the other places but I might be losing out on a job at Panera then for something that's not guaranteed. I've worked with food before at an ice cream shop but sucked and was unhappy, but Panera gives free food and whatnot but idk. What do you guys think I should do?

Well, I would rather have an established possible job opportunity than nothing at all. I would go, and if you get accepted, great, you have a job. If not, then you have all the other possible opportunities.

uhh. this really depends on how desperate you are for a job. i’d say go for the interview, and wait i guess for another job offer in the mean time…and if you think the other job offer is guaranteed and you’ll like it more…then quit Panera. idk. i’m still obscure about what you mean about the interview next thursday. && remember…getting a job is kinda hard, losing it is not.

^ To clarify I can interview this Thursday or next Thursday and if I interview next, I’ll have a week to see if the other places call me/call them but I may also be losing out on a job.
