Jobs For History Major

Hi,

I was wondering honestly what history majors can do except for maybe teach a history class. This is an honest question, thanks!

It best prepares one for grad school, or to get an entry level management job. Or to dig ditches or to drive a cab, it’s kind of an individual choice.

Many entry level management positions, or jobs leading to such, require college degrees. It’s not so much that a college education is required to do the job, as much as it is that many employers find that college grads tend to be succesful in supervisory positions.

I have had 4 jobs since graduating from college. None of the absolutely required a college education, but I would not have got any of those jobs without a college degree.
