Jobs?

Does anybody have any suggestions about what kind of jobs somebody in high school should get for work experience? I'm looking for something during the weekends. Please....no fast food restaurants....thanks.

As soon as I get a car I'm trying to land a job at a coffee shop. We have like two dozen within a mile of my house, so it shouldn't be all that hard to find a job at one of them...

Supermarkets are always good places to start...can't beat bagging groceries.

Yeah..try getting a job at your local supermarket. I have one and its...dull, I'll admit. But I'm reminded why I stay at the job every Friday at 12pm...

Your local library might need a paige (our library system hires high school students to do that at least) Or camp jobs (doesn't have to be overnight, day camps for little kids can be fun jobs)

you could look around for internships. i assume you're in the class of '07 judging by ur username. i'm pretty sure there r ppl out there who will offer internships to incoming juniors.

I worked at a local bakery-cafe (kind of like Panera) which was pretty cool. A ton of my friends lifeguard-- it's good money but it requires certification.

CollegeHereI_Come! would you know how I would be able to get an internship....I just do not know where to look.

harvardorbust07: depending on where you live, and what your interests are, the answer could be a yes or a no
