<p>at orientation, one of my OL's told me that if there was a class that i NEEDED to take and it was closed, that i could show up to the class on the first day and if anyone dropped the class or didnt show up, i could take their place? i dont know if she's telling me the right thing or not, but can i do that? the class i need to take it my chemistry lab (che 133) and if i dont take it, im gonna have to take it over the winter/summer which is seriously gonna suck. what should i do?</p>
<p>Keep checking SOLAR for openings in classes you need. I definitely saw many open CHE 133 labs about 1-2 weeks ago when I helped my friend redo his schedule because they opened up but they are all gone again. If someone drops a class there would be a opening and you have until the end of the first week of classes to change classes. You could also try getting on the wait list for a lab because it seems that many are either closed or waitlisted.</p>
